Freedom, doubt, and the mystery of spiritual freedom. 

The text below is a fragment from the upcoming essay Geloofinflatie, in which emptiness and expectarion touch each orher, and a quiet resurrection emerges in the search for freedom and faiit.

Why is faith experienced as one of the most mysterious, least demonstrable movements? What drives a person to believe or not to believe? Why does a human gein moven between a form of feedom and a form of truth wihin faith?

A number of insights play an important role: the autrhentic human being as he is created and the process of growth wihin life. In a spiritual search, the human bein as he is created cannot be ingnored, because personal freedom arises wher a person devolops.

The stands in contrst to a faith

This stands in contrast tot a faith in which truth and untruth cannot easily be established or charged. Faith therefore brings with it a concept that is not easily defined, as it is connected to human interpretaions that conrinually seek to clarify the truth about faitht. By acknowledging theis, it should be possible to critically refect on certain perspectives recardgin faith. The human being is therefore spiritiually free to make considerations and to use the unpredictability within the search for God. 

All incompleteness, which is humanly inherent to life, can be observed through the "wil"of the human being, Freed choice is present here because the striving for a complete life is always in motion. The incompletess that comes with the search for God often underenstimated. Perhaps the human being needs this process. 

The question remains how the human being, as an authentic and still developing being, can be taken seriously in the search for faith. This creaties a tension within belief in God, because human knowledge and experience can never be left out of considerration. 

Where the human being believes that rules and laws must be followed within a seach for faith, spiritual freedom does not fully come to blooom and the authentic human being diappears in his development Where does teh "will"come from tot believe one must fully inderstand God's world?

Humanity cannot be condermned for how it si created, this was not a personal choice. Let the human being be free to experience spirituality. The entire question of faith can therefore, in intimacy, become a relationship in which unbelief is also permitted. In all aaspects of human existende, silence, resurrection, emptiness, and expectation are present including within faith.
